Care and Maintains

1. Every day, remove dirt and dust from your boots.

After finishing your work, it's a good idea to clean up the majority of the dust and dirt.
This cleans out any dirt clots from your boots and lets the leather breathe normally.
A dry boot brush is the most effective tool for this.

2. Maintaining fabric work boots

Do you use work boots made of nylon or microfiber that are manufactured of fabric or polyester blends? Simply use a sponge, soap, and warm water after that.

3. Regularly polish your boots.

You may keep your work boots flexible and water-resistant by applying polish or an impregnating spray on a regular basis.

Additionally, polished boots are much better at keeping out dirt and dust.

4. Inflate your work boots.

It's generally a good idea to air dry your work boots. Allow them to air dry for as long as you can after that (at least 12 hours). Push the boot tongue all the way forward after untying the laces.
Next to your boots, let your work shoes air dry.

5. Use two pairs of work boots.

By having two pairs of leather boots, you can change between them every day and extend the lifespan of your boots.

Although the initial cost may appear high, you won't need to purchase new leather boots for a lot longer after making this step.

6. Refresh the insoles.

It's equally crucial to allow your insoles clean and air dry, as was discussed in tip 4.

They will lose their shape and performance if you place them next to a heat source.

7. Wet leather boots

Are your leather boots damp because you've been working outside in the rain?
Take off the insoles and laces, then insert some newspaper into the boots.

8. Utilize a shoehorn

You can quickly put your boots on by using a shoehorn. Additionally, it stops the heel from deteriorating and distorting out of shape.

9. Remove worn-out boots from service

Purchase a fresh pair of boots right away if your current ones are cracked, loose, or broken.
This will stop any potential dangers, including hot metal splashes getting inside your footwear.

10. Select the proper boot size.

The improper boot size can lead to a variety of foot issues. Your feet begin to perspire more and rub against the interior when this occurs.

Work boots are currently available from a wide variety of boot manufacturers.
Therefore, there is a suitable size for any type of foot form.

11. Opt for quality work socks

Never go without socks when wearing your work boots.
Pick antibacterial work socks that let your feet breathe, stop odours, and are appropriate for extended periods of time in the workplace.
